Sustainability

Glasóg is a made-to-order brand. We do not mass-produce stock and hope it sells. Every hoodie, sweatshirt, and t-shirt is printed only after you order it · which means zero dead stock, zero waste from unsold inventory, and zero garments sent to landfill.

We source our organic cotton garments through trusted partners with independently verified supply chains, transparent factory audits, and certifications that mean something, not vague marketing claims. The garments themselves are manufactured overseas in audited facilities that meet our GOTS, OEKO-TEX, and PETA-Approved Vegan standards. We then print and finish every piece by hand in our studio in County Wexford, Ireland.

Organic cotton · Our t-shirts and sweatshirts are made from certified organic cotton, grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilisers. Organic cotton farming uses up to 91% less water than conventional cotton and keeps harmful chemicals out of the soil, waterways, and the lives of the farmers who grow it.

Recycled polyester · The brushed fleece lining in our hoodies uses recycled polyester made from post-consumer plastic bottles. This diverts waste from landfill and reduces the energy needed to produce virgin polyester by up to 59%.

Recycled cotton tote bags · Our tote bags are made from pre-consumer recycled cotton · fabric offcuts from garment manufacturing that would otherwise go to waste. Every tote bag saves those fibres from landfill and gives them a second life.

We use premium artisan transfer printing · a process that produces vibrant, long-lasting designs that will not crack, peel, or fade after hundreds of washes. The inks are water-based and free from harmful solvents. Because we print in-house in Wexford, we have complete control over quality and waste. Every print is inspected before it goes out the door.

This method also means we can print on demand. There is no minimum order, no overproduction, and no excess inventory. You order it, we make it, we ship it · nothing more.

Orders over €30 ship with a free reusable organic cotton tote backpack for kids · not a poly bag. The backpack is a gift your child can actually use: for school books, beach trips, or trips to the library. It is part of the experience, not waste.

Orders under €30 ship in a biodegradable, non-plastic mailer. For additional protection in transit, we use recyclable kraft paper and paper tape. No plastic. No bubble wrap. No foam peanuts. Just materials that can go straight into your recycling bin or compost.
