Bí Fiáin, a Chroí Picture Book
Published in Ireland by Futa Fata
Description
Get up early and greet the day. Dance with the elephant, run with the wolf, swing with the monkey. A gorgeous, wide-open picture book about loving the wild world and the brave, wild heart of every child, with sweeping watercolour animals on every page. For ages 4 and up. The Irish edition is on the IBBY Honours List 2026 for translation.
As Gaeilge
Bí Fiáin, a Chroí (BEE FEE-awn, uh KHREE) means "be wild, my love". The Irish text is short and lyrical, made for reading aloud, and the book ends on the call it is named for: I bhfocail eile, BÍ FIÁIN!
