Futa Fata
Frog sa Spéir Picture Book (with QR Audio)
Published in Ireland by Futa Fata
Description
Frainc is not like the other frogs. He has no interest in swimming. He wants to fly. Mam and Dad tell him no frog has ever flown, and you can guess how much notice he takes. A warm picture book about wanting the thing you are told you cannot have, for ages 4 and up, with a QR code inside so children can hear the whole story read aloud in Irish while they follow the pages.
As Gaeilge
Frog sa Spéir (FROG suh SPAYR) means "a frog in the sky". The story is told in clear, simple Irish, and the QR audio (Éist agus Léigh, "listen and read") carries the pronunciation, so the book works whether or not Irish is spoken at home. In the publisher's own words: Is frog speisialta é Frainc. Níl sé sásta a bheith ag snámh.
