Glasóg
Go dTaga Biseach Ort Greeting Card
Designed in Wexford, printed in Ireland
Description
A gentle get well card for anyone who needs a little minding. A sleepy bumblebee rests inside a pink foxglove, tucked under a leaf blanket, while a friend flies in with a pot of honey.
As Gaeilge
Go dtaga biseach ort go luath! (guh DAG-uh BISH-ukh urt guh LOO-uh) means "Get well soon!" in Irish.
"Go dtaga biseach ort" is how you wish someone well in Irish when they are sick or recovering. "Biseach" means improvement or recovery, so the phrase reads "may recovery come to you", and "go luath" adds "soon". Perfect for a friend after an operation, a child home from school, or anyone in bed with a cold.
