Description
For the woodland walkers, the forest school families, and anyone who is happiest under a canopy of leaves. Four bold tree trunks, a mustard sun and two swallows frame the Irish for among the trees, ready for the library, the market or the next ramble through the woods.
As Gaeilge
I measc na gcrann (ih MASK nah GRAWN), "Among the trees"
"Crann" is the Irish word for tree, and "i measc na gcrann" places you right in among them. Ireland's native woods of oak, hazel and birch once covered the island, and the swallows and the mustard sun in this design are a nod to long bright days spent under their branches. The bold inky trunks have the feel of a hand-carved linocut print.
