Description
For the sea swimmers, the wild dippers, and anyone who finds their calm in cold Atlantic water. This tote carries an Irish phrase that every Irish sea swimmer knows by heart.
As Gaeilge
Sámh ar snámh (SAWV er SNAWV), "Peaceful swimming"
"Sámh ar snámh" weaves together two beautiful Irish words, sámh, meaning peaceful, serene or blissful, and snámh, the swim. It is the phrase Irish sea swimmers use for that quiet, floating moment when the cold softens and the sea carries you. A small, perfect expression of a very Irish kind of joy.
